Meet the Makers
Every piece in the sanctuary is made by a person — someone with inked hands, a dusty apron, or a paintbrush tucked behind one ear. These are the artists whose work fills these rooms.
Erika Aragon-Maynard
Tattoo Artist & Illustrator
Tattooing since 2009, Erika honed her craft from a Miami apprenticeship and then established Flora and Fauna Tattoo in Leesburg, VA. Lucky you — no appointment needed here: her artwork ships straight to your door.
Jessica Bull
Ceramicist, Illustrator, Nerd
Jess has been throwing pottery since she was a kid and teaching it since 2004. Her functional pieces — made to be held, poured from, and lived with — carry the sanctuary's earthy, sacred spirit. She also paints, draws, and illustrates.
Ed Bull
Ceramicist, Wise Old Dude
Ed has been making pottery since the 1970s — half a century of clay, patience, and craft. Known to many as a mentor, both in the studio and out, he offers wisdom and beautiful artwork.
Friends of the sanctuary
Alongside our own work, we gather pieces from independent makers whose craft and spirit align with ours. Each of their products names its maker — because handmade things should never be anonymous.
